Daniela Montañez blends clinical rigor, neuroscience, and creative facilitation. Holding an M.A. in Marital and Family Therapy from Loyola Marymount University, she has spent eight years treating trauma, burnout, and emotional regulation across settings like UCLA Health's Operation Mend and pediatric inpatient units.

Drawing on deep expertise in pediatric care and trauma-informed facilitation, Daniela leads this seven-week virtual cohort. She uses tactile art mediums to help young children build emotional vocabulary, practice sensory grounding, and explore creative expression, combining structured art-making with clinical insight to help children process feelings and cultivate lasting calm.
